1. About us

These terms govern services provided by Satellite Installation Australia, a registered business name of Nu Life Pty Ltd (ABN 12 002 295 721) ("we", "us", "our"). By requesting a booking, quote or installation you agree to these terms.

2. Independent service

We are an independent satellite internet installation provider. We are not affiliated with, authorised by, endorsed by, or sponsored by Starlink or SpaceX. "Starlink" and "SpaceX" are trademarks of Space Exploration Technologies Corp. Customers purchase Starlink hardware and subscription services directly from Starlink/SpaceX; we provide installation and related services only.

3. Bookings & quotes

All bookings made through our website are requests only and are not confirmed until we contact you. Submitting a booking request does not create a binding contract, take any payment, or authorise any charge. Quotes are based on the information you provide and may be revised after an on-site assessment. Commercial installations are tailored and will be quoted separately.

4. Installation

Installations are scheduled subject to availability, weather, site access and equipment arrival (for example, your Starlink or other LEO satellite kit). You are responsible for ensuring safe site access and for disclosing any heritage, animal, structural or access considerations at the time of booking.

5. Pricing & payment

Final pricing will be confirmed in writing before work commences. Unless stated otherwise, prices are inclusive of GST. Additional charges may apply for non-standard mounts, extra cabling, multi-storey access, re-attendance or work outside the original scope. Payment terms will be provided with your final quote. No payment is required to submit a booking request.

6. Cancellation & rescheduling

You may reschedule or cancel a booking by contacting us. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice, or no-shows on the day, may incur a callout fee.

7. Customer responsibilities

By booking an installation, you confirm that:

  • You either own the property or have the property owner's written permission to install the equipment;
  • You will provide safe, clear and reasonable access to the installation area;
  • Mains power and the satellite equipment to be installed will be available on site at the scheduled time; and
  • Any pets are secured and the work areas are clear for our technicians before they arrive.

Where these conditions are not met and our technician cannot proceed, a callout or re-attendance fee may apply.

8. Warranty & liability

Our installation workmanship is covered by a 12-month warranty against defects in the installation labour we perform. This workmanship warranty applies to our labour only and does not extend to Starlink hardware, accessories or any third-party products, which carry their own manufacturer warranties.

We are not responsible for, and give no warranty in relation to, the performance of the satellite equipment itself, including equipment faults, internet service interruptions, signal quality or service outages, as these are outside our control and rest with the equipment and service provider.

Any property damage you believe resulted from our installation work must be reported to us within 48 hours of the installation so we can assess it.

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under that law. Subject to those consumer guarantees, and to the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the installation service is limited to re-performing the affected work or to the amount you paid us for that installation service.

9. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, and except to the extent caused by our own negligence or breach, you agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss or damage arising from:

  • faults or defects in Starlink hardware, products or services;
  • interruptions to internet or satellite service;
  • misuse, tampering with, or relocation of the installed equipment after our work is complete; or
  • materials supplied by you or by a third party.

This clause does not apply to any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

10. Privacy

We collect your contact and site details to deliver the services you request and to contact you about your booking. Your information may be stored or processed by third-party service providers, including overseas. We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles and do not sell your personal information. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia.
